St Ives Surf School - Surfing and Paddleboarding Lessons
St Ives Surf School offers surfing and paddleboarding lessons to all. Located on Porthmeor beach which is minutes away from your luxury self catering apartment St Ives Surf School has different types of lessons to suit you and your family. There are different levels available based on ability from beginners to advanced. Private lessons are also available for both water activities.
Kayaking Tours
Kayaking tours are a perfect way to see Cornwall’s stunning coastline. St Ives Surf School offers kayaking tours in both single and double kayaks along the coast. No experience is required so everyone can get involved. Private tours are available if you’d prefer to just have a tour with your friends and family or there are group lessons too.
Boat Trips
St Ives Boats have a variety of boat trips available. This includes their ‘Sea Safari’ which focuses on wildlife around the coast including ‘seal island’ where you can see Atlantic Grey Seals. Historical trips to Godrevy Lighthouse are available which are suitable for all ages and the boats are dog friendly so if you are staying in one of the properties at our luxury dog friendly accommodation your dogs can enjoy a trip along the coast too. Private boats are also available to hire if you would prefer to explore the coast yourself.
Here at Sail Lofts - St Ives we also have our own belly boards, exclusive for use by our guests and located in our wet room. They are suitable for all and you don't need any experience to use them, they are free of charge and a great way to enjoy your days at the beach.
