What’s On | October Half Term
If you’re joining us for October half term you’re in for a real treat...
With so much going on, in and around St Ives, you certainly won’t be short on ideas to keep the little ones entertained. Of course, the beaches are always open and there is nothing more exhilarating than a blustery beach walk, wrapped up in your winter warmers, but if you do fancy something a little different here’s our top pick of things to do in the area…
HallowEden...
Admittedly this is a fair drive from St Ives but it's most definitely worth a day trip. Throughout the half-term week Edens biomes take on a spooky theme with pop-up performances, ghostly slideshows and mind bending illusions. There will also be hair-raising tales, pumpkin carving and Eden’s magical ice rink is back.

Rogue Theatre: Dead of Night Dance...
Delve into the land of the dead with Rogue Theatre's Dead of Night Dance. With Tehidy Woods as the backdrop to this spooky performance it promises a “wicked and wonderful Halloween celebration with theatre and adventure, thrill, frights and delights where short stories are played out in a ghoulish spook show”.

Paradise Park...
Join the park’s spookily themed ‘Owl Prowl’ and search the grounds for clues about these creatures of the night. There will also be feeding times for the penguins, otters and animals on the fun farm, and the Jungle Barn indoor play centre provides hours of fun with it’s giant slides, challenging soft-play and dedicated toddler area.

Geevor Tin Mine...
Go underground and experience a real 18th century mine, explore the Hard Rock museum and it's interactive displays and marvel at the mining machinery on display. There will also be a host of mining themed activities taking place during the half term including hand-drilling, kibble filling, games and competitions.

Something a little closer to home...
If you're looking for fun on your doorstep I Should Coco's chocolate workshops come highly recommended as do Barnoon Workshops range of arts and craft classes.
If you have mini-explorers in your group indulge their adventurous side with a downloadable treasure trail from Treasure Trails.
Whatever your plans, I hope you have a wonderful week.
