Christmas countdown is now in full swing and we are all getting ready to celebrate it. If you are spending a winter break in St Ives this December in one of our luxury St Ives apartments, we can recommend you a few lovely places to visit this weekend to enjoy the festivities.
Etsy Made Cornwall Christmas Fair
Only a 5 minutes walk from your 5 star self-catering apartment, the Etsy Christmas will start on Friday 30th November at the Guildhall where 40 Etsy sellers will gather to offer high quality products to help you finish (or maybe start) your Christmas presents. Expect live music and cocktails on Friday and a pop-up cafe on Saturday and Sunday.
Lantern Parade
The lantern parade will start at 5pm from Market Square on Saturday 1st December and this is a fantastic occasion to gather everyone in the family to admire the handmade lanterns made by children, adults but also businesses who wished to take part in the activities of the town.
Christmas Lights
St Ives town will also turn their Christmas Lights on this same day so make sure to grab your warmest coat and a glass of mulled wine and enjoy this festive occasion to officially start the countdown to Christmas.
Town Treasure Hunt
This weekend is also the start of 'Town Treasure Hunt' where children can participate to this interactive game taking place in the whole town.
