Cinema On The Beach

Bohemian Rhapsody - Porthmeor Beach - April 17th
The Oscar winning story of Queen arrives to the sands of Porthmeor Beach this April for an evening that looks kick-start the cinema on the beach season in St Ives. With food, drink and a whole host of takeaway options for everyone the evening is sure to be a memorable start to the warmer months in St Ives.
Porthminster Beach
A short walk from the Sail Lofts luxury apartments in St Ives is Porthminster Beach, who are hosting a number of films throughout the summer. All you need to do is bring enough camping chairs for everyone and some blankets for when the evening draws on. Food and drinks are on sale and picnics are also permitted.
Pirates of the Caribbean - 28th July
The family friendly classic is arriving to Porthminster Beach the Sunday before the beginning of August, enjoy the Orlando Bloom as William Turner, Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swan and of course Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. Tickets are priced at £9.95 per person.
The Pixar classic can be enjoyed with the sounds of the ocean nearby, join Marlin and Dory in their search for Nemo across the open ocean, travelling the East Australian Current from the Great Barrier Reef to Sydney, meeting friends and foes along the way. Tickets are priced at £9.95 per person.
The Greatest Showman - 11th August
Hugh Jackman fronts this record breaking musical that hit the screens in 2017, Jackman plays famed ringmaster P.T. Barnham, this feel-good musical is great for people of all ages and is perfect to enjoy on the sands of Porthminster after a blissfully sunny day.
