Jubilee Pool – Penzance

Its that time of the year again and dog owners couldn't be more excited. The Jubilee Pool is open this Sunday 29th September for their very last open day of the season before closing for a few months.

Take your four-legged friend on a trip to Penzance this weekend and experience the Jubilee Pool like you have never before. For the last day of the season, the art-deco lido is open especially for dogs from 10am to 6pm and this is going to be a fun day. Enjoy the pleasure of swimming in the iconic Cornish swimming pool with your best friend.

Designed in the early 1930's, this unique pool has been part of the Cornish heritage for many decades. Damaged by a storm in 2014, the Jubilee Pool underwent some work to re-open to the public as quickly as possible. In 2017, the operation was taken over by Jubilee Pool Penzance Limited, a community run social enterprise who aims to run the pool for the community by the community.

Now opens 4 months a year, this highly desirable destination during the Summer makes the perfect day out for families during hot weather.

If you are interested in bringing your dog this Sunday for a unique fun experience, just come to the Jubilee Pool in Penzance from 10am as there is no need to book in advance.

Prices are £5 per adult + £3 per dog.
