With high gabled ceilings on the top floor and skylights allowing the clear light of St Ives to flood in, the large open plan living and dining area is ideal for leisurely family breakfasts, relaxed dinners or curling up on the sofa after a day spent exploring everything St Ives as to offer.
With a ground floor entrance from the Sail Lofts central courtyard, Bay sleeps up to seven guests in four beautifully furnished bedrooms spread over two floors. On the ground is a double and single bedroom, with a family bathroom, on the first an en suite king-sized master bedroom, and further double with a super king-sized bed that can also be made into a twin bedded room. Opposite the second bedroom is a self-contained shower room. We can add a companion bed in the ground floor single or first floor master, although we would only recommend this option for children.
Topping off this elegant modern apartment on the third floor is an open-plan living-kitchen-diner. Flooded with natural light from Velux windows, this is a space to relax and get together. Whatever your plans whilst you’re in St Ives, Bay is great for larger families or groups of friends looking for that added touch of luxury.
With a spacious family bathroom with separate shower cubicle on the ground, a compact shower room on the first and an en suite shower room to the master, all the bathrooms are finished with contemporary black slate. The ground floor family bathroom offers the added luxury of an over-bath TV.
It was our first time in St Ives and our stay at Sail Lofts literally made it perfect. The apartments are so luxurious, with super comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen and the attention to detail second to none. The staff are so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will never go anywhere else. Hoping to come back next year.
We spent 4 nights here in April. In "Bay" I think it was. Beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 baths, with a great tall ceiling living/dining/kitchen area. Bright, cheerful, very nicely decorated. My wife kept telling me it was the nicest we've had anywhere and we travel over six months of the year.
The staff were a delight. Abi was eager to help, an absolute pleasure to talk to, and tried to think of everything she could possibly do to make our visit the best possible from the minute we arrived to the day we departed.
What a fabulous holiday in fabulous accommodation. The staff at The Sail Lofts were superb and incredibly accommodating.
We traveled as a party of 4 adults and 2 young children for Easter 2016, and the Bay apartment was perfect for all of us. Black out blinds and stair gates were provided for our children, and no request was frowned upon, even our request for extra coffee capsules was met straight away.
Walking distance from the fabulous Porthmeor Beach made for the perfect location, and with the harbour almost on the doorstep there was no shortage of food and drinking options.
Our private car park is a short 8-minute stroll from the Sail Lofts complex, which you can access 24 hours a day and come and go as you please. You will be given a bay allocation on arrival, which is yours to use for the duration of your holiday.
