For your stay, the beautiful ‘Lighthouse’ apartment provides a four-night retreat for up to two guests. Ideally located just a short stroll from the renowned St Ives School of Painting, this stunning property spans three storeys. The top floor boasts a bright and spacious open-plan living area, while the first floor features a generously sized bedroom and a modern family bathroom, offering comfort and sophistication in equal measure.
During the day, yourself and your guest will head to the St Ives School of Painting, located just a few minutes’ walk away in the historic Porthmeor Studios.
Established in 1938, the school provides quality, contemporary art tuition from its unique location above Porthmeor beach. With a team of over 30 contemporary artists and with more than 100 courses to choose from, there is something for everyone.
As part of the competition prize, join a small group for a 3-day course, led by artist Ilker Cinarel. ‘Discover Painting’ is a fast track into painting from the heart and follows Jackson Pollock’s declaration that “painting is self-discovery.” Guided by Ilker, experiment with acrylic paint using a variety of tools and expressive approaches. Sail Lofts – St Ives reserves the right to substitute the accommodation for a comparable/better option if necessary to do so and St Ives School of Painting reserves the right to change the course, times of the course, or tutor during the days specified.
Prize is non-transferrable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
