The September Festival

An annual celebration of music, literature and the arts, the September Festival has been going strong for some 30 years and sees hundreds of events taking place all over St Ives during the two-weeks over which it spans. Expect open studios, art classes, talks, poetry, dancing and no end of live music throughout the town’s pubs and bars. Walk to Zennor

Cornwall’s coastal paths are a perfect way to explore the county and offer alternative views of the coastline that can only be enjoyed when you venture out on foot. Many paths are easily accessed from St Ives so whether you're a well seasoned walker or scenic stroller, there is a route for everyone: If you can make a day of it, we highly recommend St Ives to Zennor. At around 6 miles this route can be demanding at times, however is perfectly achievable for most if taken at your own pace. The sanctuary of the Tinner's Arms in Zennor lies in wait and will see you rewarded for your efforts before heading back to your luxury cottage in St Ives via bus or taxi. You can pick up the Coast Path via the cliffs on the West side of Porthmeor beach – just below the Sail Lofts car park.
