Celebrating all that is great with the written word, this eight-day festival features a selection of events happening at various venues across the town. Featuring book launches, poetry and prose readings in Norway Square, workshops and open air events alongside comedy acts and creative writing drop-ins, this festival is the perfect go-too if you want to indulge your inner culture vulture. A mouth-watering treat for the senses, the St Ives Food & Drink Festival will feature a range of local Cornish food and drink producers alongside some of the regions finest chefs. This year chef demonstrations from Jack Stein, Nathan Outlaw and José Pizarro have already been confirmed with many more set to be added in the coming months. Set to the backdrop of the iconic Porthminster Beach, the festivals uniqueness is punctuated with live music and performances and street-food vendors providing fuel throughout the day. As one of my favourite celebrations in the town, I highly recommend a weekend break at our luxury apartments in St Ives to coincide with this fabulous festival.
