It will take you across a small section of the expansive South West Coastal path, as a side note it’s well worth mentioning that the walk to Zennor is fairly hard going so keep this in mind before beginning the journey as you wouldn’t want to be playing catch up with your dog on these paths which twist and turn and rise and fall.

Zennor itself of course has it’s own ties to the literary world, D. H. Lawrence made stay in the town for a few years, completing Women in Love before being banished, which is a story for another time. The trip to Zennor is undoubted arduous but it’s well worth the time and effort if you wish to take a look at the rural side of Cornwall. To put a bookend on the trip to Zennor why not visit the Tinners Arms for a drink and a bite to eat before beginning the expedition back toward St Ives.
