1) Visit the Tate and Barbara Hepworth Garden
If you visit St Ives and don't make the most of our complimentary entry to the Tate and Hepworth Gardens then there's a lot you've missed out on. The gallery offers an insight into the history of Art and St Ives while offering a glimpse into the artists of today. The Hepworth on the other hand is a time capsule a haven in and amongst the cottages of St Ives this garden allows you to enjoy Hepworth's works and soak in some of the history of the town first hand.
2) Find your favourite St Ives spot
Whether it's a quaint cafe, a spot on the beach or even the perfect place to enjoy a picnic overlooking Porthmeor there's so much to be enjoyed when in St Ives and so many places to sit back and enjoy the best of autumnal weather. With the sun still offering warm days in the earlier part of the season you will soon find yourself nestled up with your next big read.
3) Walk the coast
Autumn is superb if you wish to enjoy the finest of the St Ives coast, walk to Zennor and enjoy the most of the Cornish countryside.With the South West Coastal Path winding its way through St Ives you can journey in any direction and find yourself admiring some of the most inspirational landscapes Cornwall can offer you.

7) Try the Surf School
A little known fact is that autumn is actually one of the best times of the year to go surfing. With quieter beaches come quieter seas and so too the waves. 8) Cycle the South West Coastal Path
Hire a bike and wind your way through the back roads of the Cornish countryside. Make your way toward Zennor and loop back around to Penzance before ending your day in St Ives. 9) Explore the gardens of Cornwall
Once you've experienced the Hepworth Gardens you'll soon find there's so much more out there. From Tremenheere to the Lost Gardens of Heligan there are so many National Trust gardens or privately owned venues for you to enjoy whilst you're here.
