Stress free Christmas in St Ives
The temperature has suddenly dropped in Cornwall and we are very much looking forward to the cosiness of the winter months. Of course, colder temperatures mean the arrival of Christmas so to make sure that everyone enjoys this wonderful time of the year, we like to take care of everything for you.
Christmas Tree
All apartments will be decorated with a real Christmas Tree in the living rooms. Whether you prefer adding the baubles yourself with the family or would happily have it ready on your arrival, we will prepare things for you the way you want us to.
Delivery
If you find any last minute presents for your friends and family and would like to keep them hidden, we are here to help! Give our office address for any delivery and we will make sure to safely store them for the big day. We also provide a Christmas wrapping station next door to our office in case of any last minute emergency wrapping.
If you are planning on cooking your own Christmas dinner, we are at hand to help. Each of our holiday cottages come with its own Turkey tray to make sure that you have everything you need. If you are looking at ordering some meat, feel free to ask a member of staff to order for you from the locally based butchers Harvey Brothers. If you are thinking about fish, we often order some from Matthew Stevens as they provide fresh fish every day and provide next day delivery.
If you enjoy preparing Christmas dinner for the whole family and plan on cooking a feast, you may want to consider pre-ordering your shopping online as we would be happy to carefully put them in the apartment for you.
There is something quite special about celebrating Christmas in Cornwall. St Ives harbour is a real light show at night and all the shops in town are making sure to have stunning window displays. With bands playing in the cobbled streets and mulled wine available from nearby cafes and restaurants, looking for presents have never been so enjoyable.
